The Indian Thyroid Society (ITS) is holding a conference “ITSCON 2023”, from 27th and 28th May 2023 at Le Meridien Hotel, Kochi.

Indian Thyroid Society (ITS) is the largest Thyroid Society in Asia and has a vision to spread awareness regarding thyroid disorders amongst professionals and public at large. ITS aims to educate and improve skills of doctors and paramedics in the management of thyroid disorders and promote research in the field of thyroid disorders. ITS has more than 2000 members, which includes physicians, endocrinologists, surgeons, nuclear medicine physicians, pathologists and basic scientists.

This year ITS is conducting its annual conference ITSCON 2023, on 27th and 28th May 2023 at Kochi, India. We have the best distinguished faculty from Abroad and National faculty from across India.

About Kochi:

Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

Popularly known as the Queen of Arabian Sea the city also flaunts one of the finest natural harbours of the world and was the centre of the world spice trade for many centuries. Old Kochi (presently called West Kochi), loosely refers to a group of islands which comprise Willingdon Island, Fort Kochi, Mattancherry etc. The city derives its name from the Malayalam word Kochazhi meaning small lagoon.
